Storyline

Tanya lost her job, her boyfriend and her apartment. She moves back into her Dad’s place, in the neighbourhood where she grew up. She meets Denis in the local bar. They went to school together. Dad urges Tanya to apply to the Employment Bureau. She keeps postponing it. And then she meets Denis again.

Jasna Nanut was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1975. Worked in television for fifteen years, then decided to dedicate herself to filmmaking. Acquired an MA in Film and Television Directing at the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Art. During her studies she wrote and directed four student shorts that participated in Zagreb Film Festival, Pula Film Festival, Sarajevo Film Festival. Playing the Tiger is her graduate film, awarded with Oktavijan - Croatian Film Critics Award for best short. Her new short Tanya was recently awarded with Oktavijan at the 26. Croatian Film Days.
