She didn't ask for it. It just happened. There were stealing glances, attraction. But this was never supposed to happen. Inge is in her mid-60s. She has been married for 30 years and loves her husband. But Inge is drawn to this older man Karl, already 76. It's passion. It's sex. And she suddenly feels like a young girl again... 

Andreas Dresen studied directing at the Konrad Wolf College of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg between 1989-91 and was a Master Pupil in Günter Reisch's class at the Berlin Art Academy. Starting in 1985, Dresen directed several short films, documentaries, and films for television, as well as wrote screenplays. “Nachtgestalten” (1998), which he made for theatrical release, competed at the 49th International Berlin Film Festival in 1999.
