Together with the jubilee of the festival, one new film programme and one innovative new location will mark the 10th edition of Vukovar Film Festival - new VFF-a program Selected by Đelo Hadžiselimović on Waterbus Bajadera.

Being best friends with Vukovar Film Festival for a long time, Đelo Hadžiselimović is now selecting the new documentary programme “Đelo Hadžiselimović Selection“ that will screen recently produced documentaries from the whole world.

These films will be screen in the innovative environment of Bajadera Waterbus, the first floating „cinema“ in the whole of Europe. The viewers will be able to enjoy the screenings with a drink, popcorn and sweet treat – Croatian bajadera. Waterbus Bajadera screens the films during the boat ride on the Danube.

The first film to open the programme „Đelo Hadžiselimović Selection “ is „Where to invade next?“ by Oscar winning Michael Moore. Known critic to US politics and society toured some European countries with the main message – the States have to learn from them. For example in Italy he was flabbergasted when he realised how many days of annual leave workers have there, which is paid for – while in US, in most cases it is not.

He visited Slovenia, as young people in Ljubljana have no cost attendance scholarships for the University and as the studies are in English as well, he meet US students that tell him in the US they would meet student loans to be able to pay for the scholarships.

For culinary skills and cooking fans, we will screen the documentary “Noma – My perfect storm”, story on the rise, fall and rising again of up till recent the best restaurant in the world “Noma” in Kopenhagen. Owner of “Noma” is Rene Redžepi, Albanian from Macedonia.

Fashion addicts will have their dosage of documentary “The First Monday in May” that follows creation of the most visited fashion exhibition in the world that took place last year in New York.

Football “maniacs” should not miss the documentary “Barca Dreams” – while jazz lovers will enjoy the film that is not documentary but biographical – “Miles Ahead” on life of magnificent Miles Davis.
