Storyline

Welcome to the world of industrial food production and high-tech farming! Monumental spaces, surreal landscapes and bizarre sounds - a cool, industrial environment which leaves little space for individualism. Everything is based on achieving the highest possible profit. But who are these people on the production line, and how the process of food production has become very cold and alienated?

Nikolaus Geyrhalter, producer, director and cameraman was born in Vienna in 1972. At the age of twenty-two he founded his own production company (Nikolaus Geyrhalter Filmproduktion). Among his films are the award-winning “Pripyat”, “Elsewhere” and “7915 km”.
