Storyline
Two sixth-graders lose their way on a school trip and find themselves in the middle of the siege of Eger in 1552, on the exact day that the Turks unleash their final attack on the iconinc Hungarian castle. From the award-winning writer-director team of "Eternal Winter" and "Demimonde".
About the director
Graduated at the University of Theatre and Film Arts (SzFE) in Budapest, Hungarian writer- director Attila Szász started out as a film critic, founded a distribution company, moved on to writing scripts and directing ads. He shot over 200 commercials with international crews all over the world from Beirut to Mumbai. His first short film Now You See Me, Now You Don't was screened at over 100 film festivals winning 20 awards. His television movies were embraced by critics and audiences alike: The Ambassador to Bern, a political thriller about the 1958 attack against the Hungarian embassy and Demimonde, a mystery drama about the infamous murder of a celebrity courtesan in 1914, were invited to screen at over 60 international film festivals, winning 30 awards combined. Due to high demand, Demimonde was even released theatrically after its television premiere and won four Hungarian Film Awards.
