The Film Is a Part of the Permanent Exhibition of the Krapina Neanderthal Museum, the largest and most significant cultural project in Croatia, in the last few years. The Museum is located on a Husnjakovo hill next to Krapina, near discovery of Krapina prehistoric man, in the world of science known as Homo sapiens neanderthalensis.
With many attractive exhibits, an integral part of the permanent exhibition is the film faithful reconstruction of Neanderthal life community that, before the 120-odd one thousand years inhabited cave near Krapina.
ABOUT DIRECTOR
Ivan Salaj was born in Zagreb in 1969. He graduated film and TV direction at Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb 1995. For his documentaries “Drugi kat podrum”, “Hotel Sunja” and TV drama “See You” he received numerous awards at domestic and foreign festivals. For three years he has worked at Drama section of Croatian radio television, as creative director at two animated films and as director of numerous commercials. Lives and workes in Zagreb.
