Opening 5th VFF

Fifth Festival of Danube region was open at 24th of August with two titles from program competition, feature croatian film by director Tomislav Radic, "Kotlovina", that also won six Golden Pula Arena 2011., including one for best film, and the german short film "Between heaven and Earth" by director York Fabiana Raabe.
New film of Tomislav Radic talks about the life of a young widow Mimi from Australia returned to native Croatia. Having an affair with her stepsons sister, she caused a scandal in the family. Fifteen-minute film by German director is the story of brotherly love, freedom and the desire for a better future of the two brothers born in the Ivory Coast.
