Synopsis

The film tells the story of Kiran, who lives with his mother in a yurt in the Pyrenees. Kiran is eight years old and knows how to plant salad, which meadow-plants taste good and which you should not eat. But he has no idea what's going on in the evening on TV and can not deal with the computer. His greatest wish is to go to a public school to learn to read and write at last ...

Bettina Timm was born 1977 in Munich. 1996 she became graduation from high school. After the basic studies in German, she changed to the University of Television and Film in Munich. Her graduation film "I COOK" premiered at the Hof Film Festival in 2010. She works as a screenwriter, director and producer of documentary and feature film.

Alexander Riedel was born 1969 in Augsburg. He graduated after school a bank clerk, obtained in 1994 graduation from high school and began to study politics. Later he went to the University of Television and Film in Munich. During his studies he worked already in theater and photography projects. In 2007 he graduated with the movie RUN OUT film school. His debut movie “This will be the life” celebrated in summer 2010 at the Munich Film Festival premiere. Now he works as a director for documentary and feature film, is an independent producer and teaches at various universities.
