Danko Babić is a successful gynecologist in his prime and an acclaimed expert, working in the leading Croatian gynecology and sterility clinic. He is infinitely ambitious, corrupt and immoral. He is connected with Zagreb lowlifes and will do just about anything. Disappointed and with bruised ego for having to see his colleague being appointed on an executive position and because the cute intern adamantly rejects the passes he makes at her, he lies, falsifies lab results, makes plots, frames his colleagues and does anything to achieve his goals. As a result, he starts working for a narco-boss and does illegal abortions for him….
Branko Schmidt was born in Osijek, in 1957. After studying economics, he enrolled at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, where he studied film and TV directing. In 1988. he directed his first feature film, "Sokol did not like him." During his career he made many dramas and documentaries.
