Synopsis

Alina gets back from Germany to bring Voichița - the only person she loves and was loved by in this world – back to her. But Voichița found God – and God is the most difficult lover one can be jealous of.

Cristian Mungiu was born in 1968. in Romania. He studied English literature and film directing at the University of Bucharest. In 2002. his first featured film “Occident” won the FIPRESCI award. At 2007. Cannes Film Festival he won Palme d'Or for feature film “4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days”, becoming the very first Romanian director ever awarded in Cannes .
