For quite some years Vukovar Film festival and Norwegian embassy have been successfully cooperating and this year we took that coolaboration to another leverl. For the first 12 years we had „Viking Invasion“ on our festival in which we screened most popular and newest films of Scandinavian cinematography. This year we decided to make a twist and give our audience the newest acomplishments of Norwegian cinematography in a category conveniently named „Norway invasion“! The audience will get to enjoy the films for free, every day of the festival from 17:30 in Hrvatski dom Vukovar.

The audience will get to enjoy in four real movie treats in the category „Norway invasion“ under sponsorship of Norwegian embassy. The program will officially start on Thursday, July 4th at 17:30 with action spectacle „The Quake“ directed by John Andreas Andersen. This tense 2018 disaster movie that blew critics' mind is about the possibility of another earthquake in Oslo (after the one in 1904) which epicenter could go directly trought this  Norway capital.

On Friday, July 5th, the biography of norwegian ice-skater Sonja Henie – „Sonja: The  White Swan“  is on the schedule. The exciting story about rise and fall of one of the greatest ice-skater of all times has been directed by Anne Sewitski and film's premiere was on Göteborg Film Festival.
