The European population is decreasing. Villages are dying out. A mayor, retired general, refuses to give up. In fighting the thirty-year-old's solitude he uses a variety of instruments, such as offering financial incentives for every newborn child or encouraging childbearing. None of it has worked. He decides to step up his fight against windmills by organizing an evening get-together for the singles of all neighboring villages. How does it all turn out? Can the heart be commanded?
ABOUT DIRECTOR
Erika Hníková (1976) is a documentary filmmaker and journalist. She graduated at Department of Documentary Film, FAMU with the full-length documentary The „Beauty Exchange“ that was released in Czech and Slovak theatres.
