This year's fifth edition of the festival is held during  global changes that are visible at every step. Today man lives in a debt bondage, and those that  represent the structures most commonly are in  mission of promoting their own self-importance - PR politicians, unaware that they may as well do something and not deliver us just empty talk. And where is the missing man? Here he is-  a slave to the system alienated from his own power. Revolutions are only new rearrangements within the same circle of people whom we trusted our vote. Intention of freedom is to bring the evolution of consciousness that excludes violent revolutionary methods.
Selected films from this year's festival, each in their own way speak about the causes and consequences of the changes whose best witnesses are inhabitants of Vukovar and Eastern Slavonia.

Again we will gather for  the good movies and even better atmosphere that carries our great local event, our Vukovar Film Festival.

The festival is accepted and recognized as a modern breakthrough in the culture of the citizens of Vukovar, but also within the wider audience. Recent years have shown that it is not just a local event, but the Festival that crossed the city limits and has become a respected, regional, Croatian and European event. This year, screenings of top films will be carried out under the starry sky at Vukovar.

Discovery Company, co-founder of the Festival, sorted an interesting and high quality program of filmmaking Danube countries via international hits, documentaries and cartoons. With such a rich program and other wealth and pleasures of our area, along with irreplaceable relaxing effects of the Danube - success can not be excluded.

A warm and gentle Slavonia, Vukovar – a city of troubled and painful history and  Danube - Europe's great linking spot, will again wormly welcome its guests with atmosphere of the film festival with top films and the internationally acclaimed program.
