August 2010, we trust, was a beginning of a beautiful friendship  in Vukovar between the city, founder of Vukvoar film festival and HRT/Croatian Television, being a member of the European Association of Public ServiceMedia in South East Europe is co-organiser of  the festival.

Vukovar TV Market with the participation of PBS of Slovenija, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Romania and Bulgaria will showcase the best and the latest, as well as old produstion to Programming and Acqusitions Executives.

Following the successful completion of the first TV Market at the Vukovar Film Festival we have decided to extend the cooperation between public broadcasters  of the Danubean region and SEE europe.

As the VFF was the venue where film authors met, both those engaged in making feature movies as well as those making documentaries, this is just the right place for tv film authors to join them.

Since movie language is unique,why not use it  more often?

For this edition of the Festival we have organised a Documentary Pitching Workshop.

PBS-es from this region are sharing same or similar problems in organising work, living in frame of new laws and new ways of financing.

Authors of tv documentaries have to adapt to new circumstances .

This year  Marija Ratković, a member  of Croatian Film Association ,will lead first Documentary Workshop that will take place in Hotel Lav, 27th of August.

 The other novelty is a VFF Prize for Tv Documentary film. We established it because there are only a few places where tv films can be seen and awarded.

The topic is well known to all countries in region - Tradition meets Transition.
