A young forty years-old widow, Mimi, travels from Australia to Croatia, her homeland she left when she was only four. She will reunion after such a long time with her two elderly sisters, and wants to get to know the large family. Accidentally, Mimi gets involved in a love relation with a stepson of one of her sisters, and, to make the scandal even bigger, he is 20 years under her age.Even though both of lovers try to hide their relation, members of the family react one way or another, thus showing the variety of positions and opinions.
ABOUT DIRECTOR
Tomislav Radić is one of the most known Croatian film, TV and theatre directors. He directed a number of documentaries for Croatian Television and from 1997 to 2000 he was the Head of Drama Department at the Croatian Television. From 1978 to 1997 he taught acting and theatre direction at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. From 1981 to 1985 he was Dean of the same faculty.One of his recent films – “What Iva Recorded on October 21st,2003″ – was awarded Grand Prix for The Best Film 2005, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress at Pula FF 2006.
