OGNJEN SVILIČIĆ
Born 1971 in Split, in the family of journalists. He started his career with a series of TV features. At the beginning of 2000s, Sviličić often worked as a co-writer on films by other directors („What Iva Recorded“ by Tomislav Radić). Sviličić's first international success was comedy „Sorry for Kung Fu“, in which young woman from the Dalmatian highlands comes back from Germany to her native village. Film was screened in a Berlinale. Sviličić's next film, „Armin“, was also screened in Berlin Forum. His other movies are: „Wish I Were a Shark“ and „Two sunny days“.
VEDRANA RUDAN
Croatian writer born in the 1949th in Opatija. She graduated from the Pedagogical Academy in Rijeka - as she says, "Serbian or Croatian" and German. Before he decided to become a writer, she worked as a journalist for several Croatian newspapers, was editor of the radio. It is also known for his columns that he wrote in the weekly Nacional, entitled "Malice and vegetables”. Writes a short, sharp style, witty, without "beating about the bush". Her debut novel "The Ear, Throat, Knife" in 2002. seriously shook the local literature, delighted audiences and became an instant bestseller.
DEAN ŠOŠA
Born in Zagreb in 1975. He graduated in Comparative literature and History at The Faculty of Philosophy. Has written on film in various magazines, working longest period for Nacional. Currently he writes for the Globus. Since 2008. he edites film show “Special extras”. He is employed at HRT as an editor in the department Foreign program. He also co-authored documentaries “Pula confidential” and “Artavangard”.
