Summary:

Model Uschi Obermaier made an impact on the hippie world of the late 60's. The provincial German girl, she had enough beauty and energy to leave a trace on shiny rock music world and glamourous events of the time. Uschi was one of the first rock groupies, she lived in a radical hippy commune with people who believed they could actually change the world. At the end, love took her to the most exotic parts of the world, all thanks to a man who thought he was God and that everyting was possible…

Biography

Achim Bornhak was born in 1969 and studied at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg until 1996. His 50-minute film ‘Der Marianengraben’ was nominated for a Student Academy Award. Bornhak then made two TV movies: ‘School's Out’ (1997) and ‘Operation Noah’ (1998). ‘Das wilde Leben’ / 8 Miles High’ is Bornhak's feature film debut.
