Alejandro González Iñárritu je rođen 1963. u Mexico Cityju. Proslavio se 2000. godine trilerom „Pasja ljubav“ kojeg je snimio po scenariju Guillerma Arriage. Skupa će snimiti i još dva hita „21 gram“ iz 2003. te „Babel“ iz 2006.
