OPENING OF 4th ZAGREB FILM FESTIVAL
Young Croatians' movies - Libertango and Destination Unknown was screened last night on the Danube barge as 4th Vukovar Film Festival - Danube countries festival was opened.
The festival was officially opened by procurator of Croatian President, Mr. Predrag Matic.
The audience was addressed by the Festival Director Mr. Igor Rakonić and the Mayor of Vukovar, Mr. Zeljko Sabo and by Deputy Prefect of Vukovar-Sirmium County, Mr. Mato Golubičić.
Aforementioned gentlemen have expressed their delight at the beginning of another Vukovar Film Festival, which certainly enlivens the cultural scene in the Croatian East End.
"Vukovar was definitely set on the festival map of the world", says Festival Director, Igor Rakonić.
