Storyline
Two years ago, the American guests planted two thousand trees on the meadow at edge of the village. Now, they want to see how their plantation is doing. The Mayor quickly heads to the meadow to check the state of the plantation. Much to his dismay, the villagers’ goats have already eaten all the trees…
About the director
Valeriu Andriuta is Romanian director, actor and script writer born in Moldova. He graduated at Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgian State University. He is best-known for playing The Priest in the movie Dupa dealuri / Beyond the Hills (2012), directed by the Romanian director Cristian Mungiu. In his career as actor he played in almost all Mungiu's films, and also worked with Pavel Lungin, Marian Crisan, Sergei Loznitsa, Florin Serban. Until today he directed three short features.
