Summary:

At the time of global attacks on Islam there is one movie talking about those who are siners according to Qur’an but still don’t give up their faith. Filmed in 12 countries and in 9 languages, the film explores global intersections among Islam and homosexuality. Filmed secretly from India and Pakistan all the way to Turkey and Egypt it doesn’t reject Islam but tributes it.

Talking in Muslim voice it is totally different from other films on the same subject mady by Western directors.
Jihad is not a holly war in this case but struggle for love as the title suggests.
Hit film that is trying to establish Islam as a rich and pulsating, loving and poetic and above all sensual religion.

Biography

Parvez Sharma was born and raised in India. Parvez studied English Literature at the University of Calcutta. He received his master's degrees in Mass Communication (Film and Television) from Jamia Millia Islamia University, Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and Video from American University's School of Communication. He currently lives in New York. Sharma identifies himslef as gay and as Muslim.
