Synopsis

Han Wenlong is an illegal emigrant, who's dream to work on a building site in Eastern Europe, came to an end before it even began. Shen Xiaoming is a business man who lives suspended between two worlds. Li Jianhua is a journalist who tells the story of a new community, found just at the beginning of the road. All of these stories take place sometime in the 2012 – Year of the Water Dragon, in Romania, a country that shared, at a certain moment, a conjoint dream with China – the socialist dream.

Iulian Manuel Ghervas: Studied philosophy, visual arts and film directing. He worked as an independent screenwriter and director, collaborated with several national TV channels and participated in a few international productions and co-productions. In 2009, Iulian and Adina Popescu produced the documentary "Children of the Uranium", that was nominated at the Gopo Awards 2010 – for "Best Documentary" and awarded with the prize for "Best Research in a Romanian Film" – AFF 2009.

Adina Popescu is a renowned journalist, working for the "Dilema veche" / " Old dilemma" magazine. Her articles won prestigious prizes like "The prize of the ONU agencies for mass-media" and the big prize at the culture section of the "Young journalist of the year – 2006", competition organized by Freedom House. She also wrote literature for children and film scripts.
