Gabi, a social worker at a foster home in Bucharest, is organizing the Christmas party for the children. She receives the visit of a Gypsy woman, the mother of two brothers placed in the foster home, who wishes to take them home for the Holidays. Suspecting that the mother wants to take her children only to send them begging on the streets, Gabi has to decide whether to leave them with their mother or keep them away from her.
Daniel Sandu (1977) attended the Music and then the Orthodox Theological School "St. George" in Roman. In 2002 he graduated from the film directing department of the MEDIA University. From 2003 to 2009 he worked in television, as writer and director of several best-rating TV series. At present, he is developing his debut feature "One Step behind the Seraphim", based on a true story from his years at the Orthodox Theological School.
