Synopsis
Thomas is a pickpocket and he is good at what he does. When he meets Violca, things become less important. Unfortunately he has stolen from her as well...
Ilker Çatak is born in 1984 in Berlin. Later he lives in Istanbul, does his Abitur and then moves back to Berlin to study directing film&television. His bachelor thesis on the turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan is published in 2010. In 2011 he is granted a scholarship from German national TV in which he writes his first feauture film. On the side he directs commercials. Since 2012 he takes his Master's class in film directing at Hamburg Media School.
