Emmanuelle Bercot (Paris, 1967) is an actress and director. Having made several shorts, she helmed her feature directorial debut with Clément, Youth Award at Cannes 2001. Next came Backstage (2005), Elle s’en va (On My Way, 2013), which competed at Berlin, and La tête haute (Standing Tall, 2015), which bagged two César awards from a raft of eight nominations.
