Bernd Buder

born 1964 in Berlin (West), studied Political Sciences at the Freie Universität Berlin. In 1996 – 2005 period was programme director of the Berlin art film cinema Berliner Filmkunsthaus Babylon. Consulting several film festivals, among them the Film Festival Cottbus, for which he curated the regional focus on the Adriatic region in 2007 and, at the moment, prepares a focus on the Black Sea region. Since 2005, he is consultant of the International Forum of New Cinema section of the Berlin Film Festival for South Eastern Europe. Works also as a lecturer and film journalist (Film-Dienst, Der Freitag).

Nina Violić

was born in Rijeka in 1972. She graduated at Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb 1994. From 1995 to 2007 is engaged at &TD Theatre, where she participates in numerous plays. In 2000 she had well received author project “Play of Borosane on Self”. In 2005 starts cooperation with Shadow casters. From 2007 is a member of Zagreb Youth Theatre (ZKM). Acted in movies “Russian Meat”, “Each Time We Part Away”, “Alone”, “Cashier Wants to Go to the Seaside”, “Fine Dead Girls”, “Behind the Glass” and “On the Path”. Mrs Violić had received numerous awards: award of Croatian association of dramatic artists for role of Queen in “Three Musketeers”, Ivo Fici award for role of Nada in “Fever” at Festival of Actors, award of Ivan pl. Zajc for Agafja in “Wedding”, Golden Arena for Jadranka in “Cashier Wants to Go to the Seaside”.

Janko Heidl

is a film critic. Writes about film from the beginning of the 1990's for variety of printed and electronic media, mostly for the daily newspaper Večernji list. Also worked as 1st and 2nd assistant director on dozen of feature films, tv-films and tv-series. Attended Academy of Dramatic arts in Zagreb where he studied film and TV direction. Born in Zagreb in 1967.
