In 1964. Petar Ivulić, an adventurer from Split, with roots from the island of Brač and a Paris address, started the first discotheque in the former state of Yugoslavia. He could not register it under that name because such a thing did not exist as an option...

That pioneering venture launched a wave of disco clubs around the country and that form of social gatherings marked the next two decades.

But was the Jelsa "Amfora" really the first one?

Zvonimir Rumboldt was born in 1969. in Split. He graduated filma and TV directing from Academy of Drama in Zagreb. He si best konwn after direction of a hit feature  „Lavanderman – Truth Or Myth?“
